{"id":821,"date":"2026-06-15T01:33:44","date_gmt":"2026-06-15T01:33:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mia.gov.to\/?page_id=821"},"modified":"2026-06-15T01:49:23","modified_gmt":"2026-06-15T01:49:23","slug":"social-protection-disability-division","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/mia.gov.to\/index.php\/social-protection-disability-division\/","title":{"rendered":"Social Protection &amp; Disability Division"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-medium-font-size\"><strong>About this Division<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Social Protection and Disability division <strong><em>\u201cTo eliminate, reduce and minimize risks to vulnerable people by designing, developing and implementing social policies, social programs and protection mechanisms to safeguard the vulnerable.\u201d<\/em><\/strong> The desired outcome is an inclusive, sustainable empowered, developed human being with gender equality giving equal access in all opportunities to the vulnerable individual, ensuring that they have better care &amp; support services and empowering them to utilize their potentials to achieve a higher quality of life economically and socially during their lifetime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is envisaged by the division that through these target outputs and activities would bring about a reduction in inequalities while promoting greater inclusion socially, economically, and politically especially for poorer households, people with disabilities, and elderly.
